While fashion is getting all pretty and proper for Spring 2012, here’s a scoop that will fully sooth your sweet(tooth) craving. Ladurée is one infamous patisserie, originally from the city of Paris, that has even managed to take the world of style by storm. Just think of their collaboration with UK designer Matthew Williamson that resulted in mouthwateringly beautiful packaging like cute boxes covered in a dreamy texture of butterflies and flower petals.
So what’s next to keep with that flawless appearance? Stepping out into the world of beauty is a first, and Ladurée is now coming up with a chic, Parisienne cosmetics line. Yes, scented Ladurée items such as candles and precious bathoil have been launched before, yet 20 different blushes shaped as cameos are an entirely different side to the story.
Sorbet colours are a source of inspiration and we could only expect for this eye candy to also feel and smell like the stuff of dreams. Merveilleuses de Ladurée, as the exclusive label is called, will first be available to the savvy Japanese customer. After Ladurée will take a trip overseas and hit Europe, the US and the rest of Asia.
